This on one hand confirms that high‐level tyrosine phosphorylation in yeast is harmful, and on the other hand showed a significant trend suggesting that conserved S/T‐kinases are more likely to interfere with essential yeast cellular process perturbing yeast growth than heterologous expression of nonconserved kinases.
