The distribution of the grade was also not statistically significant for left-sided colon tumours compared to right-sided colon tumours. Comparison of Topography for Different Stages of Colorectal Carcinoma Table 4 shows that for stages I, III and IV disease, mortality among right-sided colon cancer was high compared to left-sided colon cancer (HR: 3.38; 1.09; 3.87); however, this did not reach statistical significance.
