24-hour ambulatory pH impedance study The 24-hour pH impedance study done at 3 (n=70; EFTP=35 and sham=35) and 12 (n=27; EFTP=27 and sham=9) months after the intervention showed a reduction in the oesophageal acid exposure (median percentage time with pH <4 in 24 hours) from baseline in the EFTP group; however, the difference did not reach statistical significance.
