The correlation between higher Rap1B expression and more days for platelet engraftment was also statistically significant when only the results from the 13 patients who did not receive propranolol were analyzed (HR=0.38; 95% CI: 0.15, 0.93; p=0.034). However, this association did not reach statistical significance when the analysis was restricted only to the results from the 12 patients who were treated with propranolol (HR=0.78; 95% CI: 0.21, 2.9; p=0.707).
