The non-mitochondrial dysfunction group showed a trend of better treatment outcomes in all aspects, including in the number of patients who achieved more than a 50% reduction in the total number of seizures, the number of those who remained seizure-free, and the number of those who achieved a 50% reduction in traumatic falling seizures; however, these differences were not statistically significant ( p = 0.65, p = 0.21, p = 0.58, respectively).
