After the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in children aged 12–17 years in October and booster shot for adults aged ≥ 18 years in November, the increase in incidence showed a trend towards decrease, and the age group with the highest incidence was replaced by children aged 5–11 years in December 2021 which showed 1.9 times higher incidence compared with adults.
