In this study, sotagliflozin showed a trend toward a reduction, over placebo, in the composite endpoint of first occurrence of a sustained decrease of 50% or more in the eGFR, from baseline for at least 30 days, long-term dialysis, renal transplantation, or sustained eGFR of less than 15 mL/min/1.73 m 2 for at least 30 days (HR 0.71, 95% CI 0.46–1.08).
