While these differences did not reach statistical significance, it is important to note that when analyzing small sample sizes, effects that are large in magnitude, yet statistically nonsignificant should not necessarily be disregarded, as the risk of detecting false-negatives is considerable (Sullivan & Feinn, 2012 ).
