As shown in Figure 2B , the inner wall of the thoracic aorta of C57BL/6 mice in the NC group was smooth without obvious red plaques; the inner wall of the aorta of mice in the HF and HFB groups had obvious scattered red plaques; the results of the quantitative analysis showed ( Figure 2C ), that the ratio of the atherosclerotic plaque area to the thoracic aortic vessel area in the HF and HFB groups showed a trend of gradual increase.
