In the mPFC, final CORT levels were significantly, positively correlated with CRF-BP and GR levels, and there was a strong trend for a positive correlation with CRF-R1 levels, only in the “sensitive” subgroup.
The highly significant and consistent PS-induced increase in CORT levels after various PS from our and other laboratories suggests that the different treatment of the naïve group did not confound interpretation of the present results.
