A Systematic Analysis of the Global Burden of Disease Study 2017 showed a trend toward the greater burden of ICH in high-income countries and slightly reduced burden of ICH in low- to middle-income countries, which Mongolia, Turkmenistan, and Papua New Guinea demonstrated the highest incidence, mortality, prevalence, and DALY rates of ICH, while Switzerland, New Zealand, and Australia showed the lowest rates [ 21 ].
