Although the repeated-measures general linear model mean comparison between responders and non-responders for these measurements did not reach statistical significance, we believe that this discrepancy between the routine MRI evaluation and the lesion volumetry measurements underlines the need for more thorough MRI evaluation, even with the integration of volumetric and lesion-volumetric analyses in the disease management algorithms, an especially prominent need in progressive MS (reviewed in Ref [ 74 ]).
