Discussion The present study has demonstrated that there is a relation between COVID-19, Long COVID syndrome, and mental health disorders, showing that even in supposedly healthy patients with no COVID-19 antecedents the prevalence of mental health disorders is elevated and, very worrying, there exists a statistically significant association between depression, anxiety, and stress scores and COVID-19 along with previous mental health disorders, depression, and anxiety scores and COVID-19 as well as a clear tendency towards significance between stress and COVID-19.
