Abstention and occasional binge drinking do not seem to be associated with a clear trend with regard to birth cohorts, but the results suggest that younger male birth cohorts are less likely to occasionally binge drink, while the youngest females have the highest OR across the female birth cohorts (1.4, 95% CI = 0.9–2.1).
