For nitrate intake from non-vegetable food sources, we observed a 37% reduction in the risk of iOAG (OR (95% CI): 0.63 (0.41–0.96)) for each 10 mg/day higher intake ( Figure 2 C; model 1), but we did not observe a significant trend ( p -trend = 0.08).
