Although Ruminococcaceae (Firmicutes), Lachnospiraceae (Firmicutes), Odoribacteraceae (Bacteroidetes), and Coriobacteriaceae (Actinobacteria) did not reach statistical significance, these bacterial taxonomic families were found to be bloomed in the high-fat diet-fed groups compared to the chow-fed groups ( Figure 4 b).
