Women with VWD were not more likely to experience vaginal bleeding in the first and second trimester of pregnancy, but were five times more likely to experience vaginal bleeding in the third trimester of pregnancy; however, the data did not reach statistical significance (OR, 5.6; 95% CI: 0.8, 41.4).
