The results in the second step indicate that the addition of WTL, change in WTL and change in depression added about 9% to the explained variance of COVID-19 anxiety, indicating that adults whose WTL weakened and who reported an increase in depression during the pandemic, also reported more COVID-19-anxiety, while the contribution of gender became only marginally significant.
