We also fit a binomial model by using the days elapsed since the start of the calendar year ( Appendix 1 Figure), but alignment of the virus detections among the roosts was less clustered on that time axis than the days-since-patient-exposure time axis, and the binomial model did not show a significant trend in detection over time.
