When looking into the individual components of the composite kidney outcomes, SGLT2i users had a lower incidence of ESKD than GLP1RA users (HR=0·53, 95% CI 0·33–0·86, p = 0·01), although the difference in the risk of sustained reduction in eGFR ≥50% did not reach statistical significance.
