Cox proportional hazards modelling demonstrated that ACEi/ARB therapy was independently associated with improved survival for those with EF 35–50 and > 50%, but despite a clear trend, did not reach significance in those with EF < 35%, likely attributable to the smaller sample size in this subgroup.
