Moreover, there was a clear trend of earlier expression in H3K27ac-ensemble-associated GRB target genes, compared to other GRB target genes ( Fig. 5i ), suggesting that ensembles participated in the activation of early acting developmental genes, including those later dependent on long-range regulation.
