( 2019 ) reported for children exposed to tobacco smoke, NDVI at all buffers was associated with lower odds for lifetime asthma [100 m: aOR 0.43 (95% CI: 0.22–0.87); 250 m: aOR 0.39 (95% CI: 0.18–0.84); 500 m: aOR 0.48 (95% CI: 0.26–0.9)] and median NDVI was slightly higher for nonasthmatics at all buffers, but did not reach statistical significance.
