When preterm neonates reached expected term age, significantly more platelets were positive for bound fibrinogen, CD63, and P‐selectin after addition of CRP, ADP, and TRAP compared with birth levels (all P values ≤ .003 except percentage of positive platelets for bound fibrinogen after addition of ADP, which did not reach statistical significance, P = .01).
