Almost half of our cohort had developed COVID-19 already at the time of the survey, and the majority had a minor disease, even though they had significantly higher worry levels from Monkeypox disease compared to COVID-19, that high worry level can be understood considering the high rates of PTSD, higher perceived life threat and anxiety in COVID-19 survivors [ 21 , 30 , 31 ], while those who had self and family worry from contracting Monkeypox infection had only slight high worry levels from Monkeypox that did not reach statistical significance. 4.1.
