qPCR results demonstrated that the copy numbers of LCDV in PBLs from the infected-flounder at different time points showed a trend of increase first and then decrease, reaching a higher peak value (1.92 × 10 3 copies) at 3 h post infection (hpi), and a second slightly lower peak value (1.48 × 10 3 copies) at 12 hpi ( Figure 1 C).
