This was higher compared to cholecystectomy group, in which 0.2% died during hospitalization (adjusted odds ratio (aOR): 0.18, P < 0.001), both procedures group, in which 0.3% died (aOR: 0.23, P < 0.001), and the ERCP group (this finding did not reach statistical significance (P = 0.123)).
