While parameters reflecting sympathetic (RRI-LF-powers, SBP-LF-powers), parasympathetic (RRI-HF-powers), and total autonomic modulation (RRI-total powers, RRI-SD, RRI-CV) only showed a trend towards lower values in patients with lower H&H-scores compared to controls, these differences reached statistical significance when comparing patients with higher H&H-scores to healthy controls (Table 2 ).
