While loss of IL-1β restricted to hematopoietic cells showed a trend towards increased levels of IL-1Ra in BM, this trend was not observed in mice with complete loss of IL-1β in all tissues (Supplementary Fig. 7c ), suggesting that the overall activity of IL-1 signaling is reduced when IL-1β is lost in hematopoietic cells only.
