Similar to the result of total complications, bleeding-related complication rates were found to be lower with use of VCD compared with MC in cardiac interventional procedures, but did not reach statistical significance (RR: 0.77, random-effect model, 95% CI, 0.60 to 1.00, p = 0.05; Figure 5(c) ).
