However, the local minimum in phase transition temperature for the 5 mol% gel with 2,4-DHBA is more pronounced compared to the polymer-additive system with m -HBA, where errors in particular for the NMR data are too large to yield a clear trend, while a higher precision due to generally larger shifts is achieved in case of 2,4-DHBA.
