4 Discussion In the urban system composed of central cities, sub-central cities, regional central cities and general cities, the construction land within the UDBs of different level cities showed a trend of rapid growth, but pasture land in the central cities, sub-central cities, and regional central cities also showed an increasing trend, which was not the case in general cities.
