The difference in the proportion of patients achieving ≥ 15 ETDRS letters in BCVA at 24 weeks between these two groups (51.9 vs 37.0%) did not reach statistical significance, although the reduction in CST was significantly ( p = 0.040) greater in the unrescued active treatment versus rescued sham group (174.0 vs 148.5 μm).
