In linear dose-response analyses, ALA intake was unrelated to T2D risk ( Table 1 ), but a nearly significant nonlinear dose–response association with decreased T2D risk was found for ALA intakes ≤560 mg/d, with an RR of 0.95 (95% CI: 0.90, 1.00).
