Our findings indicated that: (1) PPE can improve the mechanical characteristics of the concrete when used in limited quantities of less than 2%, (2) the UCS and STS tests both revealed a clear trend indicating that a 2% volume of PPE in the concrete is the ideal amount to use, (3) PPE utilization improved the concrete quality compared to the reference mix, as the fibers became more closely dispersed, resulting in an improvement in PV, UCS, FS and STS, (4) regardless of the volume content of PP
