Particularly, Krell and Caplan ( 2018 ) reported decreased success of previously endodontically treated teeth (74%) compared to other pulpal diagnoses (85% for teeth with irreversible pulpitis and 80% for teeth with pulpal necrosis), however, the differences did not reach statistical significance.
