In the TB/SARS-CoV-2-superinfected groups, there was a trend toward increases in bacterial loads across the liver, lung, and spleen, compared to the TB-alone group, at both active and chronic time points, which did not reach statistical significance, with the exception of the spleen at 4 wpi ( Fig. 7 ).
