Mortality, although numerically lower in the PDE-5i group, was not significantly different between the two groups, whereas ischemic stroke and pump thrombosis endpoints did not reach statistical significance, but there was a trend favoring the use of PDE-5i ( Supplementary Figures S2 and S3 ).
