There was a very small difference in the baseline serum K + between patients who received at least one cotreatment (mean, 6.65 mmol/L; 95% CI: 6.58 to 6.71 mmol/L) and those who only received IDT (mean, 6.52 mmol/L; 95% CI: 6.40 to 6.64 mmol/L), but this difference did not reach statistical significance ( t 408 = 1.89, p = 0.06).
