Previous reports indicated that pharmacological manipulation of actin dynamics by Jasplakinolide is sufficient to affect the structure of inhibitory synapses ( Kirsch and Betz, 1995 ); indeed, we observed a small increase in Geph intensity at 37°C which, however, did not reach statistical significance.
