Patients indicated for surgery due to trauma sequelae had lower CS (absolute and age-/sex-adjusted) compared to patients indicated for surgery due to cuff tear arthropathy, primary osteoarthritis, or massive rotator cuff tear, but the differences did not reach statistical significance ( Fig. 4 , Table IV ).
