For sensitization to food, the association was also more evident in male infants (adjusted beta-coefficient: −4.85; 95% CI: −9.82,0.11, p = 0.06) than in female infants (adjusted beta-coefficient: −2.82; 95%CI: −8.07, 2.43), although it did not reach statistical significance in either sex ( Figure 2 ; Table 2 ).
