The mean difference in Spherical equivalent (SE) between treatment and placebo-treated eyes were 0.40 D and 0.72 D after one year and two years, respectively ( P < 0.0001), which is quite significant and similar with the Atropine for the Treatment of Myopia (ATOM) study in Singapore and the study done by Joaschimsen L et al .[ 23 ] where there was a significant reduction in mean progression in SE of treatment and placebo groups.
