While HIV/HCV-coinfected liver transplant recipients had the lowest post-transplant survival in the pre-DAA era, survival increased over time with each passing quinquennium, with survival in HIV/HCV-coinfected recipients surpassing that of HIV-monoinfected individuals, although this did not reach statistical significance ( Table 1 ).
