When a single tree was followed over different seasons, it was observed that with one exception of September 2014, wet-intact CY and PY foliage of red spruce showed a trend towards slightly higher concentrations of total inorganic nutrients than those extracted from dried tissue at all collection times ( Figure 4 ).
