Among those, high‐risk apical EVs showed a trend towards increased levels of stress‐related proteins such as clusterin, peptidyl‐prolyl cis‐trans isomerase A (PPIA), Thy‐1 membrane glycoprotein, heat shock 70 kDa protein 1A/1B and S100‐A8, also suggestive of pro‐inflammatory signalling.
