Both the happy (M ± SE, 1.30 ± 0.28 μV) and fearful eye region (1.31 ± 0.28 μV) stimuli elicited significantly larger amplitudes than neutral stimuli (0.43 ± 0.27 μV, ps < 0.001), while the difference in amplitude between the former two conditions did not reach statistical significance ( p = 1, Figure 2 ).
