A higher prevalence of contralateral SLNs was observed for laryngeal/hypopharyngeal SCC (0.35, 95% CI: 0.19–0.52) compared to oropharyngeal SCC (0.16, 95% CI: 0.05–0.29), but the difference did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.09).
