Our analyses provide weak evidence suggesting that respondents under aged 35 years had almost four times the odds of PTSD compared with those aged 55 years and older (OR = 3.76, 95% CI 1.07–13.22, p = 0.04). Although each additional ACE increased the odds of having PTSD by 28 percent (OR = 1.28, 95% CI 0.98–1.67, p = 0.07), this association failed to reach statistical significance at the 0.05 level.
