The percentage of patients with polypharmacy (5+ distinct drug classes) and the percentage experiencing one or more adverse drug event did not exhibit a clear trend over time in either province (Fig. 4 ), although polypharmacy was consistently more common among team-based (vs. non-team-based) older patients in Quebec than in Ontario.
